Delete Your Account

A Simple Way to Delete Your News by URLChamp Account

Leaving News by URLChamp? We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your account quickly:

Before You Start:

• You need an active News by URLChamp account.

• Make sure you're logged in to the account you wish to delete.

• Optional: It's recommended to download any data you wish to keep before deleting your account, as this process is irreversible.

Use either method:

Option 1: Easy Link (If Implemented)

• Click the direct link: https://news.urlchamp.com/settings/delete-account

Option 2: Through Your Settings

• Click on your profile icon or name at the top of the page.

• Select "Settings" or "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.

• Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

• Click the "Delete Account" button (or similar wording like "Close Account").

Confirm That It Is You:

• Type in your password to verify your identity.

• Carefully read the deletion confirmation message.

• Check the box to confirm that you understand the deletion is permanent and irreversible.

• Click the "Delete Account" button (or similar wording like "Confirm Deletion") to finish the process.

Remember:

• This action cannot be undone. Deleting your account is permanent, and all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems (subject to our data retention policies, as outlined in our Privacy Policy ).

• It takes time for everything to be removed. While your account will be deactivated immediately, it may take some time for all of your data to be completely removed from our servers and backups.

• Content Considerations: All the content you published will also be deleted.
