Installing News by URLChamp

The installation process varies slightly depending on your operating system and browser. Here's how to install News by URLChamp on different devices:

1. Desktop (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux)

  • Using Chrome, Edge, or Brave:

    1. Open News by URLChamp in your browser: news.urlchamp.com

    2. Look for an "Install" icon in the address bar (usually a plus sign (+) or a downward-pointing arrow inside a screen).

    2. Click "Share" in the Safari menu bar.

2. Mobile (Android)

  • Using Chrome or Firefox:

    2. A prompt may appear at the bottom of the screen asking if you want to "Add News by URLChamp to Home Screen." If so, tap "Add."

    3. If the prompt doesn't appear:

      • Tap the browser's menu icon (usually three dots in the top right corner).

      • Select "Add to Home Screen" or "Install."

      • Customize the app name (optional) and tap "Add."

    4. The News by URLChamp app icon will now appear on your home screen.

3. Mobile (iOS/iPadOS - iPhone & iPad)

  • iOS/iPadOS has limited PWA support compared to Android, but you can still install the PWA

    1. Open News by URLChamp in Safari: news.urlchamp.com

    2. Tap the "Share" icon at the bottom of the screen (a square with an arrow pointing upwards).

    3. Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen."

    4. Customize the app name (optional) and tap "Add" in the top right corner.

    5. The News by URLChamp app icon will now appear on your home screen.
