At this point in time we’ve gotten a lot of unofficial information surrounding Samsung’s upcoming slimmed-down flagship phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge. First teased a few months back, the S25 Edge marks a major return to thinner phones for Samsung, and has caused quite a stir among enthusiast communities.

With that being said, new leaks by way of Nieuwe Mobiel claim that the Galaxy S25 Edge will make its debut on April 15 in Europe, with an April 16 launch set for other regions. The leak also claims that the phone’s Black, Silver and Blue models will come in both 256GB and 512GB storage configurations, with 12GB of RAM for all models as well.
2025 has been an interesting year for smartphone manufacturers so far, a lot of which are turning back to slimmer devices to expand their product lineup for the rest of the year. Samsung rival Apple is also expected to release a thinner iPhone in September, which will supposedly be called the iPhone 17 Air.
Going back to the Galaxy S25 Edge, a dummy unit supposedly based on the real S25 Edge model was featured earlier on via a video, with a thickness that measures at just 5.84mm, making it a lot slimmer than pretty much all other phones on the market right now. Other leaks also predict that Samsung will price the handset starting at €1,200, or around $1,099 in North America.
