Plenty of games are accidentally funny, but these games are trying to be funny, and are very successful at being funny.
Video games can be very funny, but so much of what makes them funny happens by accident. Bugs are a huge source of comedy in games, with regard to something funny happening that's not meant to have happened. Other times funny moments come from things not going your way in a game, on a scale that's beyond what you could have thought. Helldivers 2 is a prime example of the latter.
