Speaking of the latter, Acer’s smartphone division has mostly been dead for a while now, although it looks like the company is looking to change that soon – a poster found on Amazon India shows a teaser for a launch scheduled on the 25th of March, with the tagline “The Next Horizon.” So far, it looks like the launch might be exclusive for buyers in India, although not much else has been revealed by Acer at this point.
Acer’s last wave of smartphones was released around 2016, nearly a decade ago. In addition to Android phones, the PC manufacturer also sold a number of different Windows Phone devices, although like a lot of other brands outsourced its manufacturing to third parties such as Foxconn.
