The Verge is live blogging Amazon’s big Alexa event in New York City. It kicks off at 10AM ET on February 26th, and the company was focused on its new subscription-based Alexa Plus, beefed up with a bunch of generative AI features. We didn’t get news about new hardware, instead the AI features, and a long list of associated partnerships, took center stage.
