Android 16-based One UI 8 to land on Galaxy phones this summer
Between late June and September
Samsung dropped the ball big time with the Android 15 rollout for its devices. It only kicked off the One UI 7 beta program in early December, and after a few hiccups, pushed the stable build for its devices in April 2025 — a full six months after Android 15's public release. Thankfully, Galaxy owners won't have to wait as long for Android 16.
