Gemini’s Android app can now do all your research homework for you (Update)

- Google has reportedly brought its Deep Research tool to the Gemini app on Android.
- This tool, which was previously restricted to the web, allows Gemini to create detailed reports on your behalf.
- This also comes a few days after OpenAI launched its own deep research feature.
Update: February 18, 2025 (1:23 PM ET): Google has announced that Deep Research is now widely available in the Gemini mobile app for all Gemini Advanced users on both Android and iOS.
