- A new report has revealed how the Samsung Galaxy S25’s satellite connectivity works.
- Galaxy S25 owners are able to connect with emergency services, share their location, and send/receive texts with the response team.
- It also turns out that there’s only one small difference between Samsung and Google’s emergency SOS interfaces.
Update: February 11, 2025 (12:09 AM ET): Skylo’s global head of marketing, Pete Saladino, has clarified the difference between the Galaxy S25 and Pixel 9 satellite SOS interfaces.
“The Pointing UI is slightly different on the Pixel 9 and Galaxy S25 devices. They both show the user how to orient the device to connect with the satellite,” the representative told Android Authority.
