Nanoleaf just announced its new smart lighting system, the Pegboard Desk Dock. It’s a modular RGB lighting panel, a desk organizer, and a USB-C hub all in one. The company’s calling it a “3-in-1,” but it’s honestly more like a transformer for your gaming setup.
The pegboard desk dock is dual-sided. One side lights up with full-color ambient RGB. The other has a pegboard with hooks for stashing your headphones, controllers, or other gear. Spin it around depending on what vibe or function you’re going for. There’s even a magnetic click-and-rotate mechanism that makes switching sides feel pretty slick.
You also get three ports in total: 1x USB-A and 2x USB-C, plus a dedicated USB-C Power Delivery input. That means it’s not just mood lighting—it’s an actual workstation upgrade. Built-in cable routing keeps your mess out of sight, and the whole thing integrates directly with Nanoleaf’s Desktop App. Think live screen-mirroring, synced lighting effects, and audio-reactive beats for music. You can get even more with Nanoleaf Premium, but the essentials should be good enough for most.
Lighting scenes include over-the-top presets like “Lava Lamp” and “Waterfall,” or you can customize your own with 16 million colors. It’s got that full Nanoleaf DNA, just repackaged for a horizontal space instead of your wall. Setting it up is also pretty easy. Plug it into your PC, launch the app, and go.
The pegboard desk dock is available now on Nanoleaf’s website starting at $59.99 and will hit Walmart shelves starting in May.
