Pike Street Capital raises $199M to boost water flow management company Impel
Pike Street Capital Partners, a Seattle-based private equity firm focused on industrial technology companies, raised $199 million to supercharge its investment in Impel, a Seattle-area startup water flow management systems company.

Pike Street Capital Partners, a Seattle-based private equity firm focused on industrial technology companies, raised $199 million to supercharge its investment in Impel, a Seattle-area startup water flow management systems company.
- NorthSands Capital and Painswick Capital led the investment, which is described as a “single-asset continuation vehicle” dedicated to Impel.
- Impel launched in 2021 after Pike Street acquired Pumptech, a pumping product distributor serving the Pacific Northwest, and combined it with other acquisitions. The company is led by Doug Staab, a fluid management industry veteran.
- Veterans of Evergreen Pacific Partners launched Pike Street in 2018 and raised $237 million for its first fund in 2020.
