Security startup Oleria launches its own ‘copilot’ in latest example of AI assistant proliferation
Oleria, a Seattle-based security startup that manages employee access to applications and data, rolled out its new “Oleria Copilot” that uses conversational AI to quickly answers user questions.

- The copilot can answer questions such as “Give me a list of machine accounts with last password change greater than 90 days,” or “Show all admins that have been dormant for 30 or more days.”
- These types of assistants are becoming more common at software companies with the proliferation of generative AI. Microsoft this week announced a new voice assistant for healthcare; Amazon unveiled Alexa+ last week; and startups like Oleria are building their own “copilot” assistants — or building entire businesses around them.
- Founded in 2023, Oleria raised a $33.1 million Series A round last year. The 59-person company has customers including Vimeo and Aireon.
