YouTube TV might lose Paramount content (Update: Deal reached)
Update: Google says it's signed a short-term extension with Paramount to keep its content on YouTube TV.

- Google revealed that YouTube TV might lose Paramount content after February 13.
- The company said it’s been unable to reach an agreement with Paramount to keep the channels but that negotiations were still ongoing.
- Google has since signed a new deal with Paramount to keep content on YouTube TV.
Update: February 17, 2025 (12:50 AM ET): Google revealed last week that YouTube TV might lose Paramount content as the two companies failed to reach an agreement. Google then said it reached a “short-term extension” with the content provider pending negotiations for a longer-term deal.
Fortunately, there’s now some good news. Google has confirmed that it’s reached a deal to continue carrying Paramount on YouTube TV.
