For one, Fitbit has added “status indicators” (first seen on the Sense and Fitbit Versa 3) which appear on top of the display and let users know when features such as “do not disturb” or “sleep mode” are enabled. Other icons include a slashed phone icon in case of a lost connection, and a red battery for low power warnings.
For the Fitbit Charge 6 and Inspire 3, the firmware update also comes with new Bluetooth security features, which now apparently requires users to re-pair their tracker as a new device in order to activate the new security updates.
