Realme’s 14 Pro Series Becomes Available in More Markets Worldwide

It’s that time of the year again – MWC 2025 has finally kicked off, and with it comes an extraordinary amount of new tech releases, with the biggest names in the industry showing off their latest and greatest tech. With that in mind, Realme recently took to stage to announce the global launch of the Realme 14 Pro series, as well as new AI-focused software features.

First up is the Realme 14 Pro range, which originally debuted in select markets a while back. Consisting of the 14 Pro and 14 Pro+, the phones feature a rear panel design that changes colour based on temperature. Neat tricks for sure, but where the phones really shine is with performance – the 14 Pro+ runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the 14 Pro features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. Not exactly flagship-tier chips, but capable enough for midrange devices without compromising on power.

The Realme 14 Pro series is now available for buyers in Europe, with the 14 Pro+ starting at €529.99 and the 14 Pro at €429.99.

Realme also showcased its work on AI-based software features, including an voice-based AI Retoucher that lets users make tweaks to photos simply with voice commands. For example, saying “change the background” or “add fireworks in the background” will prompt the editor to make the wanted changes. There’s also AI Video Eraser, which can remove unwanted objects in a clip instantly.

Most interesting of all is a new hardware concept which Realme refers to simply as the “Interchangeable-lens Concept,” a prototype that features a 1-inch custom Sony sensor, which is then paired with a proprietary lens mount system. This (in theory) will allow users to attach DSLR lenses directly to a smartphone, such as a 73mm portrait or 234mm telephoto lens for more versatility when it comes to mobile photography.

There’s no word yet on whether or not Realme will make this a reality, although it should be very interesting to see should it make it to markets worldwide.
