Nothing Phone 3 will finally get a proper U.S. launch, says Carl Pei

It’s been almost two years since the Nothing Phone launched in the U.S. without strings attached. But that might finally change with the Nothing Phone 3, according to founder Carl Pei.

In a post on Twitter/X /X, Pei responded to a fan asking about U.S. availability with a confident “100%.” That’s a big deal considering Nothing has kept most of its recent phones, including the Phone 2a, 3a, and CMF devices, locked behind a confusing “beta program” that restricted them to online-only sales and limited carrier support.

While Phone 2 did get a proper U.S. launch back in 2023, every model since has skipped the market or offered a compromised version. The beta program phones didn’t fully support U.S. 5G bands, and buyers had to go through Nothing’s own store rather than major retailers or carriers.

Pei didn’t clarify whether the Phone 3 will launch through broader retail channels or still be restricted to direct sales, but the tone suggests we’re finally getting a full-scale release. Given the brand’s recent growth and rising interest in alternative Android flagships, it’s a logical next move.

The Nothing Phone 3 is expected to launch in Q3 2025, which means a July debut is possible. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see so check back with us at a later date for more updates!
